Ingredients of Melt in Your Mouth Chicken

  1. It's 10 medium of Chicken tenderloins.
  2. Prepare 1 pints of Half & Half.
  3. It's 2 stick of Butter or Margarine.
  4. Prepare 1/2 of Onion.
  5. It's 1 tbsp of Garlic Powder.
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp of Oregano.
  7. Prepare 1 tbsp of Italian Seasoning.
  8. It's 2 of Bay Leaves.
  9. Prepare 1 of Parmesan Cheese.

Got this recipe from a friend from High School. Traditional 'Melt in Your Mouth' chicken takes basic boneless skinless breasts and bakes them in a simple sour cream mixture so you get meat that's incredibly succulent and moist. This is the same concept - you still get amazingly moist chicken - but it adds in flavor from caesar dressing, so it's a little bit garlicky, a whole lot. Using a meat thermometer will help ensure your chicken is cooked all the way through without over or under cooking.

  1. Add 1/2 stick of butter to frying pan. Begin melting butter on medium heat..
  2. Chop Onion and add to pan with the butter..
  3. Season Chicken Tenderloins with the Oregano, Garlic Powder, & Italian Seasoning..
  4. Add Chicken Breasts and other 1/2 stick of butter to Frying pan and cook until cooked through and light golden brown..
  5. after cooking the tenderloins add to your crock pot along with the onions and butter from the frying pan..
  6. Add other stick of butter, bay leaves, and half & half to crock pot. (I have a west bend so I set mine to 2.).
  7. Let sit in crock pot stirring occasionally for about 6 to 8 hours..
  8. Add Parmesan Cheese to top just before serving..
  9. Enjoy! This is one of my biggest hits with dinner guests. You won't be sorry. Works well with small game bird also like Grouse and Pheasant. If done right it should just about fall apart in your mouth..
